Hi all! My name is Rachel Day and I am the sole owner and operator of Frankie's Goodies. I am a high school special educator here in the Denver Metro area.

While I truly love my job and my kids, I have dreamed of owning a bakery since I was a little girl. Frankie's Goodies is a dream come true and a labor of love.

The Cottage Food Laws
In the state of Colorado, home bakeries are legal for people to operate given certain conditions are met. These conditions include forming a legal business, getting certified by the state as a safe food handler, and labeling products accordingly. Safe Food Handling
Quality and safety of food is the number one priority above all else. After working in the food service industry for over 7 years, I take food standards and preparation practices very seriously. Because of this, I want to provide my Colorado food handlers certificate loud and clear. I also choose to use restaurant grade sanitizers in my home kitchen and have adopted all cleaning practices from my time working in professional kitchens.
