While living in the dorms and studying psychology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, my roommate's and I loved to decorate our door for the season. That particular Halloween, we hung a light-up, dancing ghost on the front of our door and named him Frankie. Just four days later he was stolen and the manhunt began. We offered my chocolate chip cookies (yes, the same ones!) as a reward. Soon enough, people were asking for cookies left and right and we began selling them out of our dorm room. From that day on, I always told myself that if I were to ever start a bakery, it would be named after Frankie.
